The Intercon legacy began in 1951 when H.G. “Jerry” Southern entered the truck equipment industry in Philadelphia. His passion and vision were passed down to his son, Jerry Southern Sr., who later founded Intercon Truck Equipment in 1992 with the help of key industry partners and his own son, Jerry Jr.
In 1996, we expanded with the acquisition of Waddle Truck Equipment in Baltimore, forming Intercon Truck of Baltimore, Inc. Since then, we’ve proudly served businesses and municipalities along the East Coast with superior equipment and customer-first service.
